Anna got married!

My beautiful and sweet friend Anna got married this weekend. It couldn't have been more perfect and she had a smile on her face the entire time. She has to be the most relaxed bride there ever was and I felt lucky to be a part of her and Arthur's day.

On Thursday, all the ladies went out for Anna's bachelorette party. And let me tell you, it was the best thing that ever happened to Pinehurst nightlife. Plenty of middle-aged golfers were around to supply the drinks for the bride to be.

On Friday, we had bridesmaid luncheon at Elliott's on Linden and ate way too much delicious food. A couple of hours later, we went to the rehearsal and practiced for the next day before heading to yet another great meal at 195. We were a well-fed wedding party.

After the wedding and all the pictures that ensued on Saturday, the wedding party went the reception that was held outside in beautiful tent and a giant dance floor that wasn't big enough to hold all the party animals that were there. The groom, Arthur, comes from a dancing family and they cut the rug until well past midnight! Even the groomsmen had some moves.

I loved the band that played- they played some throwbacks that got everybody on the dance floor. During "Shout," I'm not sure there was anyone who wasn't throwing their hands up!

Such a good weekend.
