Over the past week, I've had way too much time to think. I had minor surgery and stayed at my parents house to recuperate for a few days. The things a mind wanders to when stuck without internet, tv, or a phone...


As an avid list-maker, I spent most of the days making hypothetical lists in my head (after reading Harry Potter for approximately 5 hours). One list completely stumped me: What do I know about? Sure, I know a little about a lot of subjects but what do I actually know to the core?

Labor Day Weekend

Sorry for the lateness of this post, seeing as how the weekend's practically already here again. Anyway, the weekend was fun and filled with lots of random little treats. I went to a housewarming party, watched a roller derby, saw Our Idiot Brother, and celebrated my niece's 12th birthday! It's crazy that she's already 12. And if you can believe it, she actually enjoys middle school...blows your mind, doesn't it?

Summer Movies.

I've seen Bridesmaids FOUR times this summer and it gets me every time. I'm lucky there's a $1.50 theater nearby or else I'd be broke. And bored.

P.S. Another good movie I would love to see again is  Midnight in Paris. It made a Woody Allen fan out of me!
