Feliz Weekend

Hope you have a good weekend! I'm housesitting, babysitting, and crafting till my fingers bleed. I'm also thinking about dying my hair a shade of purple but it's likely my fear and sensibility will overpower that urge. 

Evolution of a Bookcase

My roommate and I had been looking for a hutch or something to store some of our kitchen things on since we have very limited space in our kitchen when I found this bookshelf for $20 at Habitat for Humanity.

So I painted the bookshelf "pebble gray" and added a little "lemon lime" accenting on the outer edges.

And then I put all our dishes, glasses, juicers, measuring cups, and cake stands on it. And then I did jumping jacks in all the extra space in our kitchen!

I saw these Kate Spade earrings a few weeks ago and loved how versatile they were. But a $50 price tag was not versatile on my wallet.

Last night was my third lesson and event though I love learning how to play, it's a very slow process.
