Busy day!

I'm going to blame the weirdness of today on the rain.

I had seven fillings done at the dentist today, which resulted in my face being swollen and numb for five hours. It was an odd sensation- I couldn't smile and when I drank anything, I could only feel it on half my mouth. Now I have a strong appreciation for having an regular, sensation-feeling mouth that allows me to speak normally instead of sounding like that girl from the movie "Nell."

Also, the Olympics end in four days. I don't even remember what I cared about before they came on. Apolo's up to 7 medals, the luge is unnecessarily steep and dangerous and I have to use all my willpower not to stay up until 2:30 am every morning to catch every bit of the action.

I began reading Alice in Wonderland today in preparation for the movie that comes out next Friday. I'm so excited to see it! I don't know if I like Tim Burton yet but I do know that it looks incredible.

Well 22 is treating me well so far. The milk and cookies party was a success! It was a ton of fun and we had plenty of cookies and cake. Also, Apolo Anton Ohno won his 7th medal during my party...coinky-dink? Nah!

Speaking of Shaun White...

Despite what The Onion says, I still think Shaun's inability to stop smiling should be on his strong side.

Must love dogs.

So today whilst lollygagging around on the internetz, I found what might possibly be my new favorite blog.

It's called hipster puppies. Seriously what could be funnier than dogs dressed as hipsters? My favorite one so far is Sampson-he looks like Zac Efron a little bit.

Also, the OLYMPICS ARE AMAZING! Shaun White is funny and Apolo Anton Ohno is just plain adorable.

During the snow days a couple weeks ago, I began writing a bucket list. Currently I'm up to 18 things to do before I die. To date, I've completed one- #10. Go to a UNC vs. Duke game at the Dean Dome.

Even though we lost, it was still a good time. And some girl had on a shirt that said " Coach K wears leggings...they're not pants." UNC students are so witty.

We made it!

My 15 minutes has arrived. We officially made it into the NY Times! I could be a little offended about the title of the picture and the caption beside it but it's too true to get upset.

Stir crazy.

Well folks, it's day 3 of being snowed in and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going absolutely crazy. Yesterday we all stayed at the house doing various work and today things are looking the same. I got so bored I took pictures of my fingernail polish stash. Pretending I'm a photographer is my favorite pastime.

The best thing is how much all the roommates have gotten to hang out, which is something that rarely happens. We spent over 3 hours the past two days just cooking dinner together and telling stories. However, the snow must have affected UNC's basketball team because we lost again. Oh well, I guess we can all reminisce in last year's glory of winning the championship.
